I washed my hands and dishes when I got home and the water ran and ran, even after I had started the dishwasher. I thought it would be a good test to see how badly it would leak after I had let it sit for a week.

I checked several times during the evening and still no dampness under the sink. I think taping up the extension hose threads must have done it on Monday. Looks like the handyman in the building did not do the proper clean-up. I am so sorry that I inconvenienced you.
